Communities First Training Monitoring
The Welsh Assembly Government (WAG) has asked the WCVA to monitor the Communities First training budgets on its behalf. The quarterly monitoring report is the process by which WAG monitors how the money is spent, as well as monitoring the training development of those involved with the Communities First programme.
WAG issues each Communities First Partnership with an annual training budget of £5000. In addition to this, an individual budget of £1000 is granted to each staff member employed as part of a Communities First team.
WCVA is now collecting information on training expenditure for the current financial year, spanning April 2010 to March 2011. This training expenditure will be monitored on a quarterly basis from this point forward. The deadlines for the quarterly reports are as follows:

Having completed the report for April 2009 – March 2010 we have identified some issues with the reporting process and have completely revised the monitoring report forms and guidance notes accordingly.
Please ensure the new guidance notes are read before attempting to complete the forms.
