Jobs Business and Income Generation

Jobs, Business and Income Generation is one of the largest themes within the Vision Framework. It covers identification of the issues including barriers to employment; identifying employment opportunities and engaging the hard to reach groups. Partnerships will need to develop knowledge and expertise in intermediate labour markets ; targeted employment programmes and Basic Skills/ Key Skills and Personal Development. This theme also includes the social economy with the development of volunteering and social enterprises. Partnerships will have a key role linking with employers and private businesses and facilitating subsidised employment opportunities and modern apprenticeships
