Environment

The Environment theme within the Vision Framework covers both the built environment and the natural environment. It promotes engagement and delivery within issues including environmental hazards; sustainable resource use and distinctive biodiversity such as landscape and seascape. The theme also covers sustainable transport, the provision of public and community transport services and maintaining safe routes for pedestrians and cyclists. It also covers wider issues such as addressing climate change and deep rural issues.
